Welcome to the web page for the oldest BSAC club in Rotherham. Not classified by
the age of the divers but the fact we have been established for more than 45 years.
In fact the age range is from 10 to over 65 years young, starting with the snorkellers
and progressing through to experienced divers. We meet once a week at either a swimming
pool for training or at a social venue to chat and plan the next dive.
All training is provided free of charge and all club equipment is also supplied free of charge for all pool work. We have over 20 members and new members are always welcome and we are a very welcoming club. Membership of Rotherham BSAC allows all members access to the swimming pool for either diver training or exercise on pool nights. A monthly magazine 'Dive' published by the BSAC, members also get access to our club boat and places on dive trips. In addition to a free training programme tailored to the individual not a group. All training is given freely by nationally qualified instructors who have been assessed by the sports governing body
